Steps to AT&T IMAP Settings Outlook

If you’re having issues while login to AT&T email account in MS Outlook, then to fix your AT&T email problems, what best you can do is use AT&T IMAP settings for Outlook rather than POP server settings. And, to help yourself in that, read here:

1. First and foremost, launch your Outlook email program from your desktop.

2. From it, select its ‘File’ tab in order to click on the ‘Add Account’ button.

3. Then, click on ‘Additional Server Types’ and the ‘Next’ button so that you can further tap on the ‘Internet E-mail’ from the ‘Choose Service Page.’

4. After this, press the ‘Enter’ button, and on the next page fill information such as your full name and SBC email address, etc in the ‘User Data’ field.

5. Now, simply choose ‘IMAP’ in the option of ‘Account Type’ to fill the IMAP server information which is as follows:

• Incoming E-mail Server: imap.mail.att.net and port: 993
• Outgoing Email Server: smtp.mail.att.net and port: 465

That’s it! You now have to fill your login credentials under the ‘Login Information’ column in order to login back to your AT&T account in the Outlook program.
